About This Project
A complete residential interior for an independent home in Arupukottai, Virudhunagar district — covering the modular kitchen, all bedrooms, living and dining area, false ceiling throughout and a dedicated pooja room. The brief was modern, warm and Vastu-compliant, built for a joint family with generous room sizes and a climate-conscious material selection.
- Kitchen: L-shaped modular kitchen — teak-finish laminates, soft-close shutters, full-height wall units, granite counter.
- Master Bedroom: Walk-in wardrobe zone, king bed platform with upholstered headboard, reading lights and storage ottoman.
- False Ceiling: POP false ceiling with cove lighting in all rooms — three design variants across living, bedroom and kitchen zones.
- Vastu: Full Vastu review — room orientation, kitchen position, master bedroom and pooja room direction confirmed.
- Living Room: Feature wall with panel cladding, TV unit with integrated shelving and concealed wiring.
- Pooja Room: Teak wood mandir with backlit niches, marble shelf and decorative jali screen panel.
- Flooring: Large-format vitrified tiles in living areas, wooden-finish tiles in all bedrooms.
- Lighting: Layered ambient, task and accent lighting — warm 3000K in bedrooms, neutral 4000K in kitchen.

The Result
